Optometric Training

Dr. Lee is a native of midcoast Maine and has many friends and family in the area.  He has seen patients in Rockport for 25 years.  His goal is to provide long-term modern eye care for the community.  Dr. Lee maintains Maine's highest level of optometry licensing, allowing him to treat glaucoma, co-manage surgical patients and prescribe oral therapeutics in addition to topical medications.  Dr Lee's special interests are advanced contact lens fits (difficult prescriptions and bifocals),  pediatrics, and ocular manifestations of systemic disease.  Dr. Lee loves spending time with his wife Jennifer, who is a local school teacher, his oldest daughter Hannah, who is finishing up a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy at Husson University,  and his youngest daughter Megan, who is pursuing a degree in Art History and Education, at the University of Maine at Orono.  Dr. Lee has coached many of their teams and loves the outdoors.  When he has time, he enjoys riding his Harley, snowmobiling, fishing, puttering on his tractor and tending to his dogs, cats and chickens.
